Description:
In this 3 hour educational session individuals will learn guidelines for their interaction with minors, and how to respond to boundary violations or if they suspect abuse. Individuals will also learn myths and facts about sexual abuse, detailed warning signs to watch for in adults who may abuse, and how to identify children who may have been abused. This interactive program is mandatory for all employees, clergy, and volunteers that serve children and youth. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic no one under 18 years old should attend this session.
